360 Degrees of Pure Joy: The Barnstorm Rocks Montauk

Recently, The Barnstorm had the incredible honor of providing the soundtrack for Kelsey and Mike’s unforgettable wedding at 360 East (part of the “Lessings Hospitality” group). If you’re not familiar, this venue at Montauk Downs is the definition of a fairytale setting: sweeping panoramic views of the Long Island landscape, an elegant ballroom, and a team dedicated to making wedding dreams come true. Also – Pro tip: Check out that huge chandelier in the photos below!

Kelsey and Mike gave us a ton of great “must play” songs and we were super obliged to pull them out! However, there was one song that stood out. The “Mother/Son” dance song was “Mack the Knife” by Bobby Darin… If you know the song, you’re probably wondering why this was an appropriate “Mother/Son” dance. Well as it turns out, Mike’s grandfather played saxophone on the original recording of this iconic song. No pressure!

Towards the end of the night, the “neon light up glasses” came out, and we couldn’t help but to get in on the fun as well (check out the photos)!
